Your program and Rice undoubtedy gives CUSA 3 absolute top tier programs, Pirate, that could win it all in any given year.
Squid, no offense, but I didn't find your New Orleans Bowl trip very exciting. No one in America did, really, but the Memphis folks. So, if you don't find our possible road to the national championship in baseball exciting, we're about even.

you can win the national title, but about the same amount of people would probably notice.

Here, I even looked it up.
Memphis-Bowling Green drew a 2.1 rating.
Game 2 of the CWS championship (look like the final is best of 3, correct me if wrong) drew a 0.92 rating.
Looks like around 1.1 million or so more cared about the Memphis bowl game. I believe 1 rating point equals 1,050,000 TV sets if I can remember from TV history class.

Would you expect the games tv analyst to say otherwise?

yes, since more people were watching that than the CWS.

He said that, before the game, he thought that there were too many bowls. After seeing the Memphis crowd, watching the battle on the field and feeling the electric atmostphere, he had changed his mind.
Seems pretty cut and dried to me............
All in all, I bet Tulane fans would have liked to have been there...............but, maybe not..............
I missed the drunk guy this past year at Mobile.............he was funny.

For your information Randy, there were many Tulane fans at that bowl game. Just as we have been going to every New Orleans Bowl. And we rooted for Memphis. We certainly did not want to see CUSA get embarassed like they did the year before by Cincy's poor performance. And we were happy to be in attendance for USM's showing this year. There was some confusion though because we wore our Tulane green and were often mistaken for NTSU fans.
