After reading this, I'm not sure they have any idea what they are talking about. At any rate, UT has 15 players listed in the 4 (yes 4) team selections.

Graduate transfers. One from Florida, and one from Miami, I think.

Athlon football report is usually like "Toledo's Chuck Ely was denied a sixth year by the NCAA and Center Nathan Boothe has moved on to the NFL but the Rockets return four star DE "Tank" Sturdivant and wideout Kareem Hunter and are expected to dominate the East.

Earl Moore? Is that supposed to be Marquis Moore? These rankings are worthless when they don't even know the names of the players they are ranking.

I also see 4 BG OL on the first 4 teams - with 2 being on the first team. Really? Is that based on blocking against the worst defenses in the country over in the East Division. No team ranking better than 91 nationally while the West has 4 teams ranked higher than the best of the East.

And Corey Jones doesn't make any of the first 3 teams, but at least they recognize Cody Thompson for improving greatly. Lamar Woodley not on any of the first 4 teams either. Does that mean Powell, who has not played a down yet for Toledo, is going to take his spot? Did he not recover from the broken ankle?

Overall - Toledo lands 15 players on the 4 teams - better than WMU and NIU, and not surprisingly, BGSU. Means nothing.

thanks - yours is better. I find it unbelievable that 2 of the players at Toledo that have not played a down yet for Toledo are on the all-MAC preseason teams. Sounds like a good thing and that we got some good transfers coming in, but it also disrespects some other UT players.

And.... I always keep saying Lamar Woodley instead of Ju'wan, so I guess I'm the real culprit here for not remembering names. Too much press in the area I live in for Michigan and that name is ingrained in my memory.

I made third team so I'm pretty sure there's not a lot of research in that article. It sells regionally to have as many names as possible on the lists.
