Gee, I wonder how long it took them to come up with that title.

I am really anxious to see how much playing time he will get by coach. I would hope he can get 20 snaps a game and average 125 yds a game.

"one of the top-three senior"....the key word there is senior. Lots of underclassmen will be joining Hunt in the draft.

We are so deep at running back I think 15 runs a game is enough for Kareem since that should get about 150 yards per game. It makes no sense for him to get injured early in the season and not be at 100% for the MAC games. This should be a breakout year for Swanson if he can get 10 carries or so per game.

it will be a 1-2 punch for sure with swanson. jones-moore is very solid as a backup too.

the 4 freshman tbs, 2 of whom will be second yr guys essentially, are all good. i don't know who yet, but at least one of that crew is gonna show they are ready to run the ball right now.

Toledo's #3, #4, #5 RB's would start for most MAC schools now.

Would love to see Candle work the scheme to get both Hunt and Swanson on the field at the same time.

Yes, please.

Even if we also run some pass plays out of that 2-back set. Would have to really put some pressure on the opposing D.

Too bad our #1 and #2 would only start at Toledo.

I said that to Coach Johnson (RB's coach at the time now at Texas) at the signing day reception in Savage lobby.

or Remy and Jones-Moore

Remy was. Jones Moore will be the 3rd back and a key guy when hunt or swanson get banged up. he's reliable, does't fumble and is a pain to tackle coming in fresh on tired defenses late in games.

Apparently spell-check thinks Remy and "aren't" are equivalent. smh

Yeah, Remy will be a DB (safety?) this year as a senior. DJM is very underrated and underutilized IMO. Had we not signed Hunt or Swanson, DJM would be a perfectly acceptable #1. This may be the best trio I can recall at UT in my lifetime and they all bring a little something different. 04-rock

I watched the UT -Arkansas game on you tube over the weekend, and DJM was very impressive in that game. On the 3rd quarter drive where he scored the winning touchdown, he also had a long run, 28 yards I believe, where he just ran over a couple of Razorback defenders. He has scored a lot of touchdowns throughout his career even with limited carries.
