Posts on the Rice-fan Facebook Group "Let's be honest ..." are saying that all apparel at the Rice Bookstore is 75% off starting today.

Apparently it's an inventory clearance sale as Barnes & Noble ends its tenure as bookstore operator.

One poster said "Follett just announced last week that they are taking over the contract starting in July. Barnes & Noble is out."

Look for some good changes with the change in operator.

The online portion of the new store is up and as promised a huge improvement in selection. One thing the Fan Committee heard was that there would be items like T-Shirts that you could select the logo and print to make it somewhat customized. This is a bit like the MyGarb company Pede had worked with and was really nice.
