Tennis recruits
Both the men and women's teams announced a pair of recruits/transfers. Both are adding blue-chip freshmen recruits plus an ACC transfer (the men a player from Wake Forest and the women a player from Miami).
Sounds like both teams are possibly going to be top-25 teams next year, and maybe even top-15 squads.

If the men finished near the top 20 last year this looks like a top 10 team talent wise. The blue-chip from Wake was Jake's doubles partner before college it looks like so I'm guessing our 1/2 for doubles will both be really good.

Here's an article on Priya Niezgoda from the Austin American-Statesman. I've met her a couple of times (I play tennis at the same club where she trains) and think she'll be a perfect fit at Rice, a true student-athlete.

Coincidental they lost to candy ~ 5 weeks ago at the NCAA's. Are the women actively recruiting from other schools?
