Stansbury came out firing today during press conference....Said he has saw a lot of students wearing UK and UofL shirts on campus, basically said those students need to transfer, student need to take pride in Western Kentucky...He knows what's up!

I understand some other fan's dislike. I feel the same way about some coaches around the country as well. If your school hired them, I'd probably be saying similar things. We are just excited right now. Give us our moment. Lol

Just curious for the hate that Louisville gets on page 1 while Kentucky gets off free? Louisville gave WKU 4 games in Bowling Green/Nashville over the last 8 years while UK would give WKU 8 games in Rupp over an 8 year span (if they even agree to games).

I expect the WKU/Louisville series to resume in 16-17 or 17-18 as I believe it ended because Louisville did not care for Ray Harper.

Louisville or RIck Pitnio? Convenient of UofL to get ahead of the series and stop the series, doubt as long as Slick Rick is there the series will continue...Yes will give credit to UofL at least playing us, huge kudos for that...UK will never play us in football or basketball...

I was taught to not use the word "hate", but whatever is the closest word to use would be how I feel about the trashy school in Lexington. The state political history with funding and keeping the other state schools and athletic programs down cuts too deep for me. I certainly don't love UofL, but I admire how their athletic program has risen over the years and eventually positioned themselves for a P5 Conference position. I like competing against UofL. The victories over SuCk in football were some of the greatest sports memories that I'll carry to my grave!!

The series in BB with UL has been great, imo. 1 at UL, 1 in Nashville, 1 in UL, 1 at WKU (for folks that don't know). Played 8 years in a row. Been good for us at least. UK would never do that. I, again, never want to see them in Diddle. Scum of the earth school in Lexington.

In football yes, 2 years in a row, 2012 @UK and again on neutral LP field in Nashville in 2013...Suddenly they are done playing us and now playing EKU...

No, it confirms that you don't live in a state where he coached for numerous years. If you had, you would be shocked at the stories that came out of Starkville, even from MSU fans, while he was there.

He is great at getting good talent, is an avg X & Os coach, and I would hesitantly take him over what it appears we have right now. But, I would also be scared to death that we were about to be investigated by the NCAA. If we had not had any NCAA penalties recently, I would roll the dice with him in a heartbeat. I think he will have WKU in the upper half to upper quarter of CUSA, and will contend for the CUSA Championship some seasons.

SHow me the violations from the NCAA? I get a lot of you wanted Harper to stay at WKU forever, sorry we have disappointed you...

No violations which is why I said I would roll the dice with him in a heartbeat if my program had been clean in the recent past. He appears to be very good at covering his tracks. Tyndall could have learned a few things from him.
