My thought was "Clemson isn't a school that needs to take risks on hiring unproven coaches". I figured that we had just given up on big time football. Terry Don Phillips saw something that me and others didn't. Dabo has the mystical it factor, whatever it is. Only problem is how he nearly wet himself after beating Auburn in 2011, which made for an awkward weekend in a house with a 4th generation Auburn graduate 03-lmfao

The man who told me Dabo was the hire has said that Dabo laid out a plan that outlined how he wanted to build the program. He said that he walked out of that breakfast knowing that if Clemson didn't hire him that they would eventually regret letting him slip away because he had his stuff together.

People bag on Dabo because he wears his emotions on his sleeve, but they overlook the fact that behind the goofy exterior is a pretty sharp mind both administratively and football related. People give the coordinators all the credit for the success but Dabo said after he fired Billy Napier he wanted the exact style offense we are running.
