AAC Pitcher of the Year Anthony Kay goes to the Mets at #31.

Houston takes Tulane C Jake Rodgers with the 97th pick (3rd round) in the draft.

Another Tulane player taken. SS Stephen Alemias goes to the Pirates at pick #105 (3rd round still) and was ranked no. 114 on the Baseball America top-200.

ECU just lost a signee: Hanifee to the Orioles in the 4th round.

Just goes to show the talent level we're recruiting. He'd be the equivalent of a high 4 or 5 star player in football/basketball.

Hard to say, its a slot valued at $450k so just depends on what his number was.

Yea we're lucky so far. Scuttlebutt on our board is that our guys had some high numbers that have made teams shy away.
