RE: Mythical notre dame -texas conference
Whenever someone says a 'mythical conference' is in the works, it usually means it won't happen. There's been a mythical 'Miami Valley Conference' consisting of Miami, Dayton, Xavier, Cincy, and other midwestern teams that Redhawk fans have long dreamt of, but it wasn't happening twenty years ago when our programs were good and theirs weren't where they are today, and it surely isn't happening now.

On 17 October 1521, Pope Leo X declared King Henry VIII the Fidei Defensor or Defender of the Faith. This title was given to honor Henry for his book Defense of the Seven Sacraments which attacked the theology of Martin Luther and was dedicated to Leo.

I can't help it if Leo took the title back.

No, Henry later strayed down the heretical path and is now having his soul shredded by demons in hell for all eternity... :)

If Henry is burning in hell, I would hope that it is for executing a wife for not bearing a male child, rather than having a falling out with a Pope.

Both. :)

I doubt it. Henry probably purchased indulgence.

See, he didn't. That was his mistake. He should have paid up. :)
