Trump - An Alinsky "Radical?"
“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”

“Keep the pressure on. Never let up.”

“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”

"The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."

“If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

RE: Trump - An Alinsky "Radical?"
I'm with miko on this... the GOP nominees have for the most part, sat back on their hands and just taken shot after shot (whether legitimate or not) and just tried to roll with it.

Trump's playing a new game, where you fire at him.. he's firing back. And he's not afraid to admit that he's firing back when it happens. Republican candidates should take something from this style, it appears to be working (for both he and to a lesser extent, Bernie).
