RE: Big XII CCG back in 2017
Cinci has been marketing hard. I know several visits have occurred. It's almost a fault subject on local sports call in shows. Nippert stadium is an issue though. They just invested about 40 million into it, but that didn't help the capacity much. They do have the option of using Paul Brown stadium for big opponents. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't BYU have a policy against playing games on Sundays? That would be difficult for some of the scheduling.

This pretty much kills expansion. They dont want to add teams and share more money. They just got their cake and get to eat it too.
They just completed a study that showed they'd actually increase revenue by adding two teams.
They're going to add two next year. Book it Dano.

If it was significant money they would have done it by now. Hard to believe when they would be making much more splitting the TV and playoff money an additional two ways. Those are the to largest sources of outside revenue. I don't really see any team out there in the G5 that is going to move a TV deal up. They would have to poach two good P5's to get more eyes on the games.
