North Texas Lands QB
College of DuPage QB Devin O'Hara was one of the top passers in the NJCAA last season

Scott Eklund
01/23/2016

Now that he's finished up a successful sophomore season and his two-year degree, College of DuPage QB Devin O'Hara (6-5, 215) waits patiently for the right opportunity to present itself. He has several schools looking his way, but so far, none have extended offers and he updated JCFootball.com recently on where things stand...

"I've gotten heavy interest from Indiana, Purdue and Arkansas State, but so far, none have offered yet," O'Hara noted. "I actually worked out for the Indiana coaches and I felt like I did really well. I also threw for the entire staffs of Utah and Utah State during the summer and both were really interested in me, but they haven't had much contact lately."

As a third-year sophomore this past season, O'Hara had a very big season, completing nearly 67% of his passes for over 2,200 yards with 24 touchdowns and five picks while running for 200 yards and four touchdowns as well.

Morris, our 6'3" and 233 pound Alabama transfer, is the starter. We need some depth behind Morris. This recruit will help with that, and may grow into a contender for the starting job in 2017.

Nice to UNT changing things to improve their FB program. A decent coach can do wonders - just look at our baseball team this year. Good luck

North Texas has everything in place to do well in football. Nice stadium, large enrollment. String some consistency and things could get interesting. BUT I can say the same thing for FAU.
