New transfer--Jauan Wesley
WR from Iowa state...was a Thorton kid out of highschool. Looks like he got into a little trouble at Iowa state with a driving offense...hope he learned from his mistake. Was ISU's 3rd leading receiver last year.

It was a pot arrest and operating a vehicle. Shocking a college athlete that smokes pot!

He was arrested for drugs and suspended by coaching staff then when new staff came in they kicked him off the team. Sounds like a great kid to go and pursue ?

He may not have to sit out I think they released the kid.

like their coach said here, he definitely looks dynamic on film. our last WR transfer seemed to workout pretty well. here's to hoping he does too. our RB and WR positions are stacked

You must've been the perfect 18-19 yr old. Sometimes a second chance and a change of scenery is needed. He'll be closer to home. Family and coach can keep him in check. Worth the risk . A petty drug offense< DUI or Sexualt assualt(i.e. Baylor Univ)

Hope so. Carey has a knack for getting these transfers that add value. You can never be too deep at receiver.

They probably have known him since his HS days at Thornton. If they liked the kid then and know what happened at Iowa St, pretty sure they have a real good idea of what they are getting. A net Posirive for the Huskies

And, I will be excited when he actually lands in our class...not that I am not kind of excited now, but the last minute defections make these "commitments" in name only. You want him to have a nice senior year but not one that has him leaving us.
