RE: Who Gives Money to Barry Sanders?
I think Earl was the most 'complete'. He wasn't as fast or shifty as walter and barry, but he wasn't far behind, and he had the power of a Czonka or Riggins (plus)

And he's crippled as a result. Oh well, I give him credit. As far as I know at least he isn't crying pain and foul toward the NFL because of it like half of those hypocrites from decades ago. I call them hypocrites because they bragged about how hard they played and how tough and hard hitting they were but now are publicly calling out and taking legal action against the NFL because of how much their body is breaking down now that they've long retired.

Barry was a beast, I agree that with Emmett's OL he could have been the best ever. He had that amazing ability to make something out of nothing, many of his most impressive runs weren't long TD's but ones where he'd take what should have been a 7-10 yard loss, people all over him in the backfield and somehow end up with a first down

It's always been a 1A and 1B choice with me as to who the best RB in my lifetime was, but I tend to go with Barry because for at least part of his career Payton had some talent around him. Barry was the Lions.
I've always wondered what Barry Sanders could have done running behind an OL like the Cowboys though. Switch Barry and Emmett and Barry is the G.O.A.T.

Can't argue that.

What a waste. Just like J.J. Watt and Andre Johnson on the Texans and all the combined wasted prime years they've had.

Great video. Also shows that despite the fact that Barry did make the Playstation style moves he was famous for people tend to overlook the fact that he could be a physical back and break tackles as well.

LOL, I just now realized my mistake. Well, at least you guys had some fun with it. Anyway, Barry Sanders was phenomenal. I actual met him in a bar in London shortly after his retirement. Dude walked in jeans and t-shirt and was very cordial. Luckily for him, not may people, other than us few Americans, even recognized him. BTW, dude was short but damn he massive tree trunk legs. Still hate that he retired early but given it was the Lions, I still can't really blame the guy.

RE: Who Gives Money to Barry Sanders?
It was between playing for the Lions and that he didn't want to be a cripple for years after retirement. Smart move and NFL players can learn from that.

RE: Who Gives Money to Barry Sanders?
I'll contradict my last post but man, I couldn't imagine calling it quits at the top of my craft while I still very much had an able body. He could have played into his late 30's, heck, he could have taken a year or two off, came back refreshed and been just as good as he was in his 20's.
