Looks like Boren continues to back track on expansion.

They will become the Big East in the near future. They are holding the Texas and OU money train as long as it lasts.

If they didn't stir up expansion drama over the summer , no one would give a rats ass what was going on in that tumble turd conference.

You may be the only poster on here who doesn't care about what's going on in that "tumble turd conference". Most fans of schools here are writing posts about how their school is next in line to join the tumble turds. I doubt we are going, but I'd love it if ECU was a Tumble Turd Conference member playing Texas and OU every year. Just sayin..

I doubt it.

The Big East was unstable by nature, you schools going in different directions that agreed on nothing besides being a good basketball conference. And we all know how that turned out.

The Big 10 is more stable than what biased message board posers like to think. Texas is the only team that realistically could even go anywhere but no where else is a better option.

No better option currently. If that changes and UT bolts the Big12 is toast

Texas = 30.4 million B-12 payout + 15 million LHN + 2-3 million Championship Game payout in 2017 = approximately 48 million dollars a year = no expansion.
