You see, if that Transgendered person was born in Tennessee, Ohio, Kansas or Idaho, they can never get their 'legal gender changed even after surgery. Even if they live in North Carolina (legal gender is determined by the place of birth - regardless of place of residence).

In Mississippi, SB 1523 is even more of a mess. While Mississippi will allow a post op Transgendered person to change his/her legal gender after reassignment, SB 1523 says that the legal gender change shall not change their restroom assignment under Mississippi law.

You got nothing. The bills you support REQUIRE that males with pe(nises use the ladies room. Seeing as the NC and MS GOP both MANDATE pen(ises in the ladies room, even for those that don't present as female, its a bit disingenuous for you to try to pretend that what I advocate is somehow worse.

The ACLU did defend the Klan's right to adopt a section of Georgia highway. So they haven't totally forgotten the Constitution. They lost a lot of donors back in the 80s when they defended the American Nazi Party's right to do a parade in Skokie (heavily Jewish), Illinois.
