Memphis and the over are about the only decent bet on there. I dont think I'd touch anything else.

I wonder how many games Vegas had us winning last season. I'm guessing they missed low. Hopefully the same can be said about this year.

I thought it was 8.5 by some books in Vegas, just checked and found it was by the one I looked at.

So much has changed since last year, who can make heads or tails of it? Not sure if I want over or under.

Pulling for over tho!

New coach/offense and arguably best ever Memphis starting QB now in the NFL, I'd take 6 or 7 wins with a bowl right now and be pretty happy going into the future.

Ya, I hope we go undefeated and win a national championship but 6 or 7 wins appears to be a realistic possibility. Hopefully, people are not expecting 9 or 10 wins this year and then get down on Norvell if not achieved.

Lots of unknowns. Lots of toss-up games.

I see 7 games on next year's schedule that I could argue either way (win or loss). Only 2-3 games that would "appear" right now to be "lock" wins.

But, on the flip side...only 1 game that would seem like we'll be heavy underdogs.

See the offense being better this year compared to last year. more weapons (Mississippi Henderson)and QB play after Tulsa game was inconsistent. By mid season both Fuente and Lynch knew they were gone at end of year and team performed like it.

At a minimum 7.5. We have more skilled player offensively compared to last season. And some of last year's Freshmen have grown into college level players after last year's campaign. Jae'Lon will see many more touches and could be seeing double coverage to try and shut him down. Hopefully would see a Jae'Lon and mississippi Henderson kick off return dual threat. That way teams cannot kick away from a speedster.

Barring extreme injuries and or things you just can't count on, the minimum for this team should be 6-6, and I think you can reasonably expect 7-5 or 8-4. Anything else is pretty darned unlikely.

Very good analysis.
