Congrats to Marshall
What a season. You guys have so much to be proud of. A little more of what your boys did this year would put C-USA back on the map.
Build that stadium.

Very proud of this team.
Had the Herd's short-relievers found their stride a little earlier, there were 7 games (best I recall) that MU lost after the 7th inning; getting half of those (2 in-conference) results in the Herd winning the reg. season, and probably improves the RPI sufficiently to have made the Herd a legit at-large selection.
Will be interested to see if MU continues to come up in the selection conversation. While the RPI will end up around 60, the overall record, the conference regular season finish, and going 2-2 in the tournament (with two losses to the host) should get some consideration. But, I realize the Herd has the smallest of chances (if at all).
Congrats to USM and Rice for making it to the finals - no easy feat in this league this season. Congrats to FAU and La Tech as well. Expect to see/read all four getting in to the tourney. Hoping against hope for that fifth bid . . .

I think it is great that your coach "scheduled for wins" this season, as that is what you have to do if you want to get momentum, but those two home series against Lehigh and Brown really stick out as RPI killers. Hell, if you played those series on the road, your RPI would have jumped up several points.
Look at Bryant (Northeast Conference) as a great example of how you can play an awful SOS but still end up with a decent RPI by winning road games. They won 24 games on the road this season!!

I think if we'd just beat Wake in that one and done at the end of the season we'd have been where we needed to be. We were just a bit outside.
