It would be awesome to get to the mac championship game

It would be awesome to make it eight in a row.

It would be awesome to get them in a bowl game and make it 9 in a row.

Beating BG.... never gets old really.

As an objective observer, I am not buying the BGSU hype this year. They are just loosing to much talent plus their head coach. I think they will have to fight to get to six wins and will not be the power in the MAC that we have come to expect.

Time for the Bobcats to win one!

I wonder who they picked to win the West the last 6 years? Were they right more often than sheer chance would predict?

Well your last MAC Football Championship Trophy is 47 years old so it might be nice to get another...

Personally I think UB's 8 year old trophy is getting a little long in the tooth. Hopefully Lance Leipold can get us another before it's older than 10.

Lance should do OK - he only lost 1 more game at Buffalo than he did at Wisconsin-Whitewater.

So that was 5-7 at Buffalo and 109-6 at Whitewater

For whatever reason Buffalo doesn't seem like it can build the depth of the top MAC programs to sustain the winning from year to year.

Basketball is another story. If the AD was smart they would put their chips into basketball where you've got some competitive advantages.

What an upset beating Ball St. Buffalo has had some lean times, but has a MAC trophy in its case. Good for Buffalo. CMU always is a threat to me for the MAC, even when they don't win they seem loaded. This year a solid or better QB and 10 returning starters on D with a HC with solid pro credentials.

Give it time... 10 years ago UB was a 1-3 win team every year. Now were at 5 every year as the program builds. If we ever build our damn field house I suspect we will start to be a team that wins 6+ games most years.
