Is if the pac 12 or sec would take kan state or Oklahoma state to get the big prize. Texas won't move until after the fact and I lean towards them going to the pac 12. Worst case for them is they take Texas tech, Houston and tcu to a pac 16 and that is still a pretty good outcome. Ou is either in the sec with OK state or big ten with ku

Only Texas and Oklahoma have a guarantee landing spot. The others do not. There could be 8 votes against the killing off the Big 12. Both OU and Texas may have to pay the rest a large some of money to let them go to other conferences. If the Big 12 decides to split off? Would a consolation prize that both AAC and MWC take in the rest of the Big 12 and make them into P6 conference? That could allow couple of FCS conferences to move up as a whole like Big Sky and MVFC.

Kansas?

Big 10 refuse to take Missouri who is in a larger populated area. Kansas would be another Iowa State for tv markets.

ACC do not want West Virginia period.

Nobody wants Oklahoma State because no tv value to add population wise.

Nobody wants Iowa State.

Nobody don't want Baylor before the scandal, and they will not want them now.

TCU nobody wants because they are a private religious school.

Texas Tech is in a small tv market.

The only 2 schools that the other P5 conferences want would be Oklahoma and Texas.

Have you ever heard of Kansas basketball?

The expansions of realignment have to do with football. Kansas is not a likely expansion candidate since their football sucks. Football is driven the bus, not basketball. That is why Duke is not wanted by the Big 10 either.

With this Baylor crap storm going down right before the conference meetings, I'm starting to wonder if the state schools are going to be gunshy about adding another private religious school. Looking at you BYU!!

I'd rather drop to the Sun Belt than accept Baylor's rapists on our campus.
Right... Blazers like em younger. 15 year old girl in a football dorm. Brillliant.

BYU is under heavy scrutiny as well, but for expelling the victims of rape.

Based on that experience, yes. Zero tolerance for rapists, even statutory.

The athletic director, Herman Frazier (possibly the stupidest man on this planet, who would go on the wreck Hawaii's program) was fired, but football coach Watson Brown survived. Watson "knew nothing" but went to great lengths to know nothing, when it was his job to know. Instead of a pink slip, he was actually given Herman's job. Once Watson became his own boss, you regularly found his under-21 players drinking in Southside bars and loitering on the edge of the practice fields chattering with their boyz instead of, you know, practicing. He started a guy who sported a 0.00 GPA (the guy had failed EVERY class he ever took at UAB). And unlike Briles, he didn't even win games - Watson Brown lost more games than any other coach in the history of football (you can look it up). He survived his first firing thanks to his mentor, PW Bryant Jr., but was eventually run out of town in 2006 after doing his best to burn the place down behind him - the next coach inherited less than 60 scholarship players.

So no, we have seen the rot that comes from winking at criminality. No Baylor rapists on our campus. Send them to Tuscaloosa.
