Quote:Americans, like people everywhere rising up against neoliberal globalization (in Britain, for example, this takes the form of Brexit, or exit from the European Union), want a return of social relations, or embeddedness, to the economy.
What does quote mean: "... want a return of social relations, or embeddedness, to the economy." I don't understand it.
I also tend to steer clear of claims that "Americans" want this or that, as if we all thought the same. Same as Brits. I suspect some think the EU is a good thing.

I just don't see how the demographics let him win. But, it will be fun to watch the fireworks.

Sounds like he gets it...sorta...but is trying to translate it into something a communist theorist might understand and thus makes it nearly unintelligible.

Depends on who is willing to come out to vote for Hillary...and who is remaining silent until they reach the voting booth.

Demographics don't matter when Trump controls the media and the narrative. Clinton's problem is Trump moves too fast for her. He is already on his 5th line of attack before her political consultants tell her how to respond to the 1st... and by that time, nobody is listening. If she doesn't figure out how to think on her feet and that she has to ditch the consultants, she is going to have to address her husband's sexual assault issues, Vince Foster, and the rest of her scandals on national TV in a debate. They won't be able to hide her like they did with Obama bacause Trump controls the narrative. This is her worst nightmare.

I think the Clinton campaign is sitting on stuff to push out later in the summer.

What stuff? He's been in the public eye for the past 30 years. Is this the same stuff that 17 Republicans found?

I'm sure it is, but we will be talking about whatever the National Enquirer puts out, not Trump University or whatever else she might have. Media is in it for sales and ratings and reporting on what Trump wants them to report on provides the sales and ratings. All he has to do is kickback some money to Roger Stone to make up an affair. I just don't think she can beat him.
