Reckling Park Upgrades
Appears we finally got the incremental gifts needed to get the final go-ahead...

...it is my understanding that the architectural drawings have already been approved by all requisite parties.

RE: Reckling Park Upgrades
Does this include the additional suites extended down the 1st and 3rd base lines? Or is the hospitality area the additional suites we had heard about earlier?

I think the suite expansion is a separate project.

Ditto the new scoreboard, but I think that has already been gifted and should be up in time for next season.

Deo Gratias and many, many, many thanks to Bob and Betty Bixby.

Betty is an absolute angel, in every sense of the word...

And thanks to all the other major donors.....not sure who all of you are yet, but am sure word will get around....

RE: Reckling Park Upgrades
Excellent news! Can't wait to see what these upgrades will look like. 04-cheers

The change in attitude in our athletic department has really been great to watch. Can you imagine if we had been this proactive with Historic Rice Stadium.

Also I'd still be interested in smaller campaigns for things like beautification associated with these upgrades. Not all of us can give the $5k, $50k, or million dollar naming gifts (yet 03-cloud9)but I'd definitely do $500 or $1000 for a brick in a courtyard outside of our new Roost!
