Toughest SEC Non-conference matchup of week one:

I was thinking along the lines of ESPN is (finally) propping up the properties they have locked up long term as opposed to the ones that might get away...

Mark I hope your right, but an article written by "staff" and attributed to an SEC guy is hardly a "new day" for the ACC imo. He very well may have been just pumping up the opponent.
Now don't get me wrong, I think FSU deserves every accolade they get as does Clemson.
This just smacks to me as a hollow compliment.
Again, no offense intended toward FSU who deserves legit recognition for work done the last several years and the havoc the could cause this year.

ESPN basically views FSU as a threat to their #1 priority SEC football......certainly the huge amount of SEC media and ex SEC players their do. Media exposure for the ACC from ESPN is normally as 2nd class citizen to the SEC or as negative press media fodder.

Their are exceptions, of course, but as a generally rule......ESPN is making big moves to subjugate all that is the ACC (minus basketball...which is how Tobacco Road lets it all slide) to the SEC
