Third party candidate. Owns a restaurant. Can't imagine anyone eating there again. Shocking to see this level of bigotry publicized so brazenly. Guy has to have a screw loose somewhere. If Trump is getting blamed for this nutjob, then I guess we are going to have to blame all the lawbreakers from now on to Hillary.

Quote:POLK COUNTY, TN (RNN) - A congressional candidate's billboard sign pledges he will "Make America White Again." Another shows Confederate flags flying around the White House.

Multiple people voiced their displeasure at the racist signs for Rick Tyler, a third-party candidate for Tennessee's 3rd District seat. Several people posted angry responses on his Tyler for Congress Facebook page.

Someone posted the "Make America White Again" sign had been taken down. The Tyler campaign's website also was down Wednesday.

He told TV station WRCB that he had no hatred for people from different races. But he wanted to go back to a "1960s, Ozzie and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver time when there were no break-ins, no violent crime, no mass immigration."

There were thousands of killings and other crimes every year in the '60s, although they were not portrayed on the fictional TV shows Tyler mentioned.

According to the Uniform Crime Reporting Statistics website run by the U.S. Justice Department, there were 64,405 total property crimes in Tennessee in 1966 when Ozzie and Harriet went off the air.

Tyler is an owner of the Whitewater Grill restaurant in Ocoee, TN, and he described himself as an entrepreneur, pastor and political candidate on his Facebook page.

The seat is held by Charles Fleischmann, who is running against two others in the Republican primary Aug. 4. Three candidates are running in the Democratic primary, and two others have filed as independents.

Ray Nagin was re-elected after saying he wanted to rebuild New Orleans into a "chocolate" city.

Well then make a thread about that. This thread is about Rick Tyler. Besides, everyone loves chocolate.
