RE: Vegan dies climbing Mt. Everest to prove that vegans can do anything
I knew that about sea salt and as a matter of fact, when I'm serious about my diet, the salt I use is an upgrade, Himalayan pink salt. Under the microscope, it has a clear crystalline structure (an image I saw on Dr. Joseph Mercola's website). The bottle I'm looking at, made by WBM International, says it has 84 minerals and unlike common table salt is handled with a lot of TLC.

I'd like to know what the world and plant life would be like if we didn't consume and trash so much. I'm presuming we would be able to live a vegan lifestyle.

And we must have different sources. I've seen sources that claim salt water was safe to drink millions of years ago (I don't remember the sources however).

It's your money...

Just listen to yourself... Humans have been meat eaters for the entirety of their recorded history and longer. An 5,000 yea old man trapped beneath a glacier had a stomach full of goat meat. I'm betting if a 10K year old ice man ever turns up he will have meat in his stomach.

Quote:And we must have different sources. I've seen sources that claim salt water was safe to drink millions of years ago (I don't remember the sources however).

Osmosis is a scientific fact. If you drink something with a higher salinity than your blood it will leach water from your cells (all of them) and you will die.

====

You have to think this through logically.... Even on a pristine planet earth there is no place one could live and not include some animal products in a healthy diet. If not meat then eggs or bugs or .....

The only reasons vegans can "master their diet" is (1) because science allows us to create products fortified with things like B12 and (2) because modern technology lets people eat produce year round which does not grow in their area.

I've said my piece now. If you want to go on fooling yourself and go on making some dietitian / vegan counselor very rich then it's your money.

Not trolling. If I can find it again, take it up with the source (I presume you're referring to the salt water commentary).

I only eat meat from animals that eat plants. So, in essence I'm a vegetarian by osmosis.

Actually, Hispanics are much more of the vegetarian sort than any ethnicity. Most of our food has vegetables and little meat except during barbecues. At those times we "yum, yum, eat 'em up".

If we aren't supposed to eat animals, why are they made of meat?

What's so funny? You found some humor in that story?

Yeah seriously, he's just trying to use it as a platform for not being a vegan.

She was using it as a platform for being vegan, and it failed.

Her husband, also a vegan, made it to the summit, but also became quite sick.

He also seems to be a giant d!ck.....

Quote:She returned to the camp site at 26,085ft with a sherpa while others in her group carried on. Her husband is thought to have reached the summit.

What kind of a$$hat continues on after his wife is on her deathbed?

The person who created the picture screwed up. Swap the rabbit with the horse and keep the line after the horse. Rabbit is some fine eating.

Especially on Easter.

It's also odd they have so many canines and felines but no turkey.

The horse should be before the rabbit and the red line drawn before the horse. Horses eat the same thing cows do but since we use them for sport and transportation we don't consider them eatable but they are and rightly so. Horses don't have canines either because of their diet.

ok so move put the pig on the horse, and move the bunny between the horse and chicken...

Then the line goes right through the middle of the horse mounted pig. Everything on one side is more useful as a food on the other side as pet and down the middle does double duty...
