Can't pitch Blake on just 4 1/2 days rest. It's gotta be Dup, with revenge on his mind.
I missed the fact the tournament starts on Wednesday and our first game is 9 friggin am.
I hope you are right about Jon!

At least it's not a night game, and Dup is less likely to get stuck behind a weather delay or a 15-12 game.

So, 5-1 or 4-0 will do the trick. Thanks everybody.
A normal double-elimination, 8 team, tourney requires 4-0 or either 5-1 or 6-1. However, made-for-tv tournaments can be single-elimination if you lose the final game, and I think you have a path to the championship at either 4-0 or 5-1, with no scenario where you play seven games.

My thoughts exactly -- nothing wrong at all with morning games.

First pitch needs to be some chin music to set the tone. LA Tech a little too cocky and needs to be cut down a notch or two. Leadoff batter with dust on his backside will go a long way.

Haha, I agree. I'd like to see us play with the same edge that LA Tech plays with.

Old school baseball. Now let's see if we have the cojones to do it.

Hahaha chin music or should we hold hands and sing Kumbaya? I'd hate for any of these players to get their feelings hurt by someone creating expectations.
It's going to be fun watching your posts this weekend. With the streak on the line do your boys get tough and find a way? Do they realize nothing else matters other than this pitch, this out, this win? Or do you cry and cave in to anyone because a coach said a swear word or looked at you mean? For more than 2 decades Rice baseball has done the first. Of course that was before you came along.
It's the postseason. This is all anyone remembers. So yes, it's the most important thing.
