That's a long time but congrats to him on his promotion to the bigs. Do the SBC, but mainly stAte, proud.

Matt Whiteside from A-State last pitched in the majors in 2005.

Congrats to him! It's nice to see any former Sun Belt players play professionally.

Whiteside was 05? Wow...I had him like 10 years before that.

Eagles have several guys in the minors, as I'm sure most of y'all do. We had an SP, Everett Teaford, who was back and forth between AAA and the bigs a few times for Kansas City last year. Not sure what his current status is, but he's our most recent big-leaguer.

We've got a lot of guys hurt in the minors this year. I think 4 of our players in the minors are on the DL currently.

Wright started this year in AA, so him getting promoted to MLB was surprising.
