Conference home games vs P5 in 2016.
AAC has a total of 8 P5 schools coming to town to play in their stadiums this year which leads the non-cartel conferences. Great opportunities to make more national noise!
AAC: 8 plus Houston plays neutral game vs OU in Houston. Navy plays ND in Florida
CUSA: 6
MWC: 3 plus CSU plays Colorado in Denver and Hawaii plays Cal in Austrailia
Sun Belt: 1
MAC: 0

AAC:
UCONN: Syracuse, Virginia
ECU: NC St
USF: Florida St
UCF: Maryland
Houston: Louisville
Memphis: Kansas
SMU: TCU

CUSA:
Florida International: Indiana, Maryland
Western Kentucky: Vanderbilt
Texas San Antonio: Arizona St
Rice: Baylor
Marshall: Louisville

MWC:
San Diego St: Cal
San Jose St: Utah
Boise St: Washington St

Sun Belt:
App St: Miami

MAC: (No home games vs P5)
If I'm leaving any games out please correct me.
Cheers!

MWC should pick up two of those. I think we should get about 3-4. CUSA I'd guess the toppers take it to Vandy but other than that I'm not optimistic for them.

My predictions: AAC wins 5, MWC wins 2, CUSA wins 1. SB wins 1 (Appy upsets Miami haha)
Cheers!

And ND-Navy is a Navy "home" game, we just always play in a big stadium instead of NMCMS

It's counts at a home game for Navy when they play ND in Jacksonville? Good. Cheers!

Which 5 games do you see the AAC winning? I think 4 would be the best case scenario.

While the OU game is technically "neutral" and won't count in our average home attendance, it's part of our season ticket package and the crowd will be very much in Houston's favor.

Our home and home to the end of days contract with ND - we play in a big stadium to up the gate, and ND's share of it, but it is a home game for purposes of our CBS/CBS-SN contract. CBS loves having that every other year. Important part for AAC fans: it will be part of the Navy inventory for AAC negotiations.

Jax this year and San Diego in '18 are great locations for Navy fans. (Dublin was a great home game too.) Being in the conference now limits our scheduling beyond what we could do as an independent. I know that's what I miss about independence and don't believe I'm alone. It looks like we will be using the ND game to get some geographic exposure, but I hope at least half are in Baltimore.

Good question. I don't know, I do think it could be pretty close and some casual local fans could become Coog fans at the end of a close game if that makes sense.
Cheers!

No.

Take a look at what's left on Ticketmaster. The nearly sold out side is the Houston side.

They've had some nice home schedules. In 2014 they had Louisville & Pitt at home. Whether it's wise scheduling based on thier recent performance is debatable but plenty of schools are happy to play in Miami it seems.

ECU takes the cake with best overall P5 schedule IMO. 01-ncaabbs 04-cheers
