Source told me the previous Nike contract was no better than a big high school deal. UA is much better.

We are going to have a fantastic marriage with Under Armour and the timing could not be better for both parties.

For NIKE with schools like Oregon and Bama who are on major sports networks almost every Saturday, UAB is a small fish in their pond with being on TV only a few times and then usually on "second tier" sports networks. For Under Armour, like the old Avis ads, "#2 has to work harder" and take greater risks and that can be to UAB's advantage.
