Little Rock Takes First Game From ASU
9-4. I'm going out tomorrow when hopefully the weather will be better.

With the win, Little Rock has now won 17 conference games which I believe may be our best win total ever in the Sun Belt.

Since Texas State beat UTA and USA beat Troy yesterday, we have a two game lead on both Troy and Texas State with two to play. Since we swept both clubs, Little Rock is assured of no worse than the #3 seed in the SBC Tournament.

How long since we have finished that high?

I'm not sure we ever have finished this high in the SBC!

After watching tonight's game, I don't know how we finished third. Boy, Curry needs to recruit over a bunch of pitchers this year. Pitiful pitching staff.

When you average 7 runs a game offensively, it can make up for a bad pitching staff. You are right though that it's going to likely hurt you in the tourney. Pitching generally is what wins the Sun Belt Tournament....drop into the losers bracket early and usually you are toast.

Hitting has carried the Trojans all year. As you point out, without pitching, hitting won't be enough for the tournament.
