This game will count as a Big XII game in a couple of years. I'd hate to be the guy who replaces the lights in the scoreboard in about 2019!

I'd really like to keep Louisville around, but if they must go with Syracuse as a pair to the Big XII, have fun... and don't let the door hit you on the way out!!!

A lot of us in Louisville are aggravated over the noon kick off against FSU. I'm glad it's on ABC but would prefer a later game.

Get used to it. The ACC gets almost no late kickoffs. Habitually scheduled for noon, 12:30pm, 1pm and 3:30pm.

How does Miami end up playing at a Sunbelt school? Did they get a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1?

1. Up to now it's been ACC at noon, B1G at 3:30, SEC at 6 PM and Pac-12 at 9 PM. Expect the ACC to get more 3:30 kickoffs if ESPN truly does pass on the B1G.

2. I know, right? One thing is for sure - Miami is probably the best home opponent on the entire Sun Belt schedule! Thus, if they only get ONE national broadcast, I'm thinking this is it.

The 3 letters that I HATE to see next to a Louisville game, RSN! You can bet that Fox will black it out in Louisville whether it's at home or away.

They wanted to do something unique........give their players the experience of playing in front of fans.

So, not only did Miami only get a 1 for 1, they also have the away game 5 years before they get the home game. That's ridiculous for a program like Miami to do that.

Agreed...a 2 for 1 should've happened.

The Boone NC area is filled to the gills with folks from Florida. It's the closest place they can go for regular winter snow and agreeable summer temps as Boone averages just one day a year above 90 degrees. They also get to see deciduous leaves change color.

It's not a bad trip as long as you have a place to stay and that's the real trick as Boone is worse than Blacksburg/Christiansburg for good hotels. Make certain you don't take the room above the indoor pool - it's a killer. 05-nono

If it's a dry August and there are cool nights in September, most of the maples above 3500 will have started to change so you would have good color starting about 200 feet above the stadium floor on the surrounding mountains, especially Howard's Knob and then looking back toward Blowing Rock. It's also not likely to be freezing ass cold. As any game played in October in Boone can be damn near unbearable making Blacksburg look like balmy and dry.

Miami-App State to be played at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 17th on either ESPN or ESPN 2. No loss in coverage for a Saturday game against a Sun Belt team.

Seems like a win-win to me. Especially if Miami loses.

This game will count as a Big XII game in a couple of years. I'd hate to be the guy who replaces the lights in the scoreboard in about 2019!

That would be disappointing on so many levels. The thought of being exiled to the Big 12 after playing in The ACC would be awful.

I rate the Big 12 as just ahead of The AAC in membership desirability. Most Louisville fans I know will tell you the only reason The Big 12 was even part of expansion discussion was Louisville fans thought it was our only shot at a spot in a P5 conference.

Before Maryland announced it was leaving The ACC the thought of Louisville being a member of The ACC was little more than a pipe dream.

It is often said it is sometimes better to be lucky than good. UofL had been good for some time. It was about time we got lucky.

As far as being a member of The ACC, I think Louisville fans version of a dream scenario is probably an understatement.

So no, this won't be a Big 12 game anytime soon.
