Brando has stated on Twitter that BYU is an obvious choice for Big 12 expansion. Who does he think #12 should be?

Is there any way in h-e-doublehockeysticks that Texas would fold the Longhorn Network into a Big 12 network, even if "made whole"? Is there any way they would give it up to join another conference as opposed to going independent? Would any other P5 school join the Big 12 with its network situation in limbo as it currently is?

To maximize revenue, will CR eventually lead to one nationwide conference comprised of the top 32 football programs?

What's the tone in CAA/CAAF? Madison, Stony, and a Patriot League that says it wants more football schools and has had no problem asking CAAF members if they'd be game.

Since PL seems to do well with secrecy, any leaks that they already have leads?

People always say the Big 12 should have added Ville and UC with WVU and TCU, so why not UC now with whoever would be #12.

I think I can answer that one: "HARD". Not only is there strong evidence (plus a televised admission) of a coach paying players and possible academic fraud (why were they bringing recruits in from out-of-state to take ACT tests?), they are in a state which has the "evil" Confederate battle flag on their state flag but has just passed anti-GLBT legislation, both of which the politically-correct NCAA frowns upon. Maybe, if they fire Coach Hugh Freeze they will receive a modicum of leniency.

Just my opinion but I believe The Big 12 should add Memphis along with Cincinnati. That helps build an eastern bloc for WVU.
