I'm more certain he'll turn around the program now more than any coach I can remember hired in the past. The $200M+ Dome reno cant hurt either.

Feels like for the first time in a LONG time hat we have a real HC. I know some loved DM but he never gave me the feeling he knew what he was doing. Now Dino has to prove it on the field but he really makes me believe that he gets it and can get the job done.

Really rooting for the guy and have not been this pumped for a football season in years.

I have a great feeling about Coach Babers as well.

I have been impressed with what I have read about him so far at Syracuse. I think he will be a strong hire for you guys. He is right on target with wanting all home games to be in the Dome.
Seems like you guys have a keeper.

I would take PSU in the Meadowlands every other year (when they host Rutgers). Other than that, I strongly prefer Dome games with an occasional (once a decade) Yankee Stadium game against someone like Army or UConn.

Yep!. Babers loves it up here. He's becoming ingrained in the culture up here. Also, what I thought was pretty interesting is that he is on the search committee to find Mark Coyles replacement. He has a say in whos going to be his new boss. Baylor doesn't worry me. He would be pretty stupid to even think about inheriting that dumpster fire.

Jumping from a new stafium situation to a NCAA/federal government investigation ain't happenin' - especially given that jumping from a P5 before coaching a down would be a career-ender down the road.

What's the deal with Syracuse's new stadium? I haven't seen anything about it... Someone want to let me in on the info?
