Ask them what platform they think the ACCN will be and how successful they feel it might be. I think the network itself is a forgone conclusion. I am more interested in the format and success of it at this point.

I would like to know what the feelings of the AD's are regarding any info that have been shared with them regarding the ACCN, whether they are excited by what they heard or more reserved. The answers, if they answer would be very enlightening.

Great get! My question is why now regarding the ACCN? What kept the ACC from getting a network earlier? What did the SEC do differently?

If the ACC goes with a non-traditional network using different technology than the SEC or B1G, what has ESPN done to make that avenue possible or even plausible?
Has this been the plan all along?

It took the SEC 3 years to launch their channel from the time they said they would start a network until the time that the channel launched. April made 3 years that the ACC schools signed their GOR. I think the BIG took about the same time to really start to catch on. The ACC might be in the ballpark, if they can get a network launched by the start of next season.

Could ESPN be waiting on the next contract period to bundle the ACCN with ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU and the LHN?

Is the rumored $3 mm bump from ESPN a one time deal or a reoccurring yearly payment until the ACC gets a network?

If the ACCN will Not be traditional like the SEC & B1G, What type of plans are there in place to assure fans that like to go go out to restaurants and Sports bars to watch games, that Those places and fans will have equal access to Viewership with much better quality than the current practice of hooking a laptop to a tv like with ESPN3. That is just a horrible experience for all and also not shown on multiple TVs like traditional broadcasts are in Sports bars.
