1. Does anyone know how badly hurt Teykl is, or how he got hurt in that first inning of Sunday's Game 2 (taken out immediately after he had walked)? Blake against a left-hander is almost as automatic an out as Staab.

2. Hopefully, Zach fares better than he did last week. And after last Tuesday's walkathon, you can bet that the Coogs are going to be EXTREMELY patient at the plate, and try to work the count every batter. We better be able to throw strikes or it's going to be another very long and disappointing evening.

JP just responded to my tweet inquiring about Connor-- apparently it was a slight hammy pull (on a walk?) and he's day-to-day.

Cumbie is pitching for UH?? He threw 101 pitches (8 IP) against us a week ago, and then 5.2 IP (96 pitches) in a Sunday start at Cincinnati. I find it hard to believe he'd be starting again tonight.

No I am seeing King is starting for UH. He's their typical mid-week starter and threw a solid game vs ULL last week. That makes more sense.

It happened on the next play, a hit single. Connor rounded second and then stopped too quickly when he realized he could not make third on the play.

Lead off double for the Coogs in the 4th, and Zach picks him off 2nd! Which was quickly followed by a homerun. Sigh.

Gametracker corrected the error just in time to have Solecitto replaced by Amador.

I see we wasted huge scoring opportunities in both the 1st and 2nd inning. Gray, who had such a great night on Friday, has been 0 - 9 since, with 3 doubleplays.

We're once again free passing the game away...with the offense failing to capitalize repeatedly with scoring opportunities. Sound familiar? The story of almost every game this past week, save for Friday.

Soft liner to center scores 2 runs. 1-3 Coogs going to the bottom of the 4th.

It didn't happen on a walk. He led off second then had to get back pretty quickly. That's when it happened. Looked like he just tweaked something.

Another waste of a leadoff baserunner.
