What's strange is UConn almost beat Navy...

Today Navy destroyed SMU so bad they posted this on their twitter.

Navy Athletics

@NavyAthletics
#NavyFootball had the ball 10 times against SMU and scored 10 touchdowns. Navy scored 75 points on 57 plays. That's absurd.

Monken doesn't need that efficiency. Makes the game too easy.

Despite the disaster finish at UConn, Iā€™m told not to expect a coaching change there.

the Josh Pastner Conundrum. UConn needs a patsy to come along like Georgia Tech did for us

I don't want Diaco to go anywhere.

That guy has a lot of ideas for UConn and the conference. I like that we have him around to liven up our conference meetings. You need those 'out of the box' guys.

UConn has done a service to the conference with this extension.

Wow. That's crazier than giving Lebo an extension.

Okay, people, remember that "losing 10 offensive starters" thing that had a large majority of this board predicting a huge Navy dropoff?

UConn was that team's second game, first FBS opponent, Worth's first start. Dominated for a half, and then let the Huskies back in it. Still had a 4th quarter comeback.
Same in Tulane - toughed out a fourth quarter comeback.
Paid the price at elevation in Air Force's Super Bowl.

Since then, 49.1 points per game against opponents with a collective .571 winning. Now let's see if the committee judges G5s on "who is best NOW" like they claim to do for top four.

Looking hard for that win #2, presuming they beat Holy Cross. UCONN's QB situation is dreadful. If they go 2-10, I'd give Diaco another extension.

But for 4 years minimum. Oh, and double the pay.
