Yes, but only some mods can do certain things on certain boards.

I can do nothing on this NIU board except give warnings and / or ban people, and since I am not a mod on this board the only moderator thing I take advantage of NIU-wise is to ban ISU trolls.

its weird, i've sent a couple of them DMs to move the verbal thread to the "Import Threads" section at the top and others to have asked for months and literally zero responses. just noticed i haven't really seen any responses to other threads for a long time either, but it might be worth adding someone who is a regular to take care of some of the admin stuff?

I have been on these boards since 2003 and mods typically are changed every few years due to apathy. Not that they aren't NIU fans anymore but they just don't visit the boards any longer for various reasons. If you aren't getting any response from the mods then you may need to contact georgia_tech_swagger as a last resort. He typically will see where everything stands and we can get some new mods if need be. Most of the mods step down by choice but some will hang on longer then they should.
