Even though Rice fans know we'd have had a far better shot vs. Alabama than we will vs. Tulane. :crying:

Anyway... congratulations on knocking another $EC team out. 04-cheers Here's to a great Super Regional. I'm still rooting for Rice -- but whoever comes out of New Orleans, I'm rooting for 'em the rest of the way.

I appreciate your sentiments and feel the same way about Rice. Congratulations and good luck.

Part of me would have liked to play lsu because they would have been MUCH easier to beat. However, as a baseball purist I love this matchup. Also, I couldn't be happier that our SR is just that...ours. What I mean by that is by being the only local team in it, we get all the press. If we don't win it, I'll be pulling for the Owls all the way. I'm looking forward to a great weekend of baseball. 04-cheers

Thanks Lmac. I'm really looking forward to playing the Owls and meeting some Rice fans. I'll be pulling for the winner of this regional as well. If it's Rice, since I rooted for you guys last weekend I'll already be warmed up. :D
