Did Fox get what would be the most premium half of the media rights or are those yet to be bidded?

I saw a commentary that made it seem like the more premium half is out for bid.

Really!?!?! My running assumption has been they were two equal parts. If what you say is true... Fox may be willing to bid maybe 3 -4 hundred million for the more attractive rights.

Do you know if the conference championship game is included in either of those packages or will it be bid on separately?

I don't think it was released which part of the package that was finalized between Fox and the Big Ten. I believe it is flexible along with Fox's payment which is up to $250 million. Most speculate that the agreed upon deal includes the top programing, including at least half the title game (alternating years).
