Verizon and ESPN settle suit. (Victory for Verizon?)
http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2016.../84186526/

Terms of the settlement are not disclosed, but it looks like Verizon has a victory in the sense that they will still offer 2 types of TV package for $65.
Essentials (No ESPN or Sports Channels) and Sports and more (ESPN and all other sports channels).

Looking at the 2 packages the Sports and more seem to be just a big sports package with just about every sports channel out there with a few other channels like Cartoon Network, Nick and a couple of other channels that are in the Essentials package.

With this now settled, look for more look for more subscriber loss from the customers who don't care to have ESPN and other Sports channels or those who just watch whatever is on the NBC/CBS/FOX and ABC stations.
