Look at the map picture in the philly.com link, it seems Temple can at least do something on the scale that Tulane did recently.

Storrs is just so freaking FAR from the Big 12. People don't realize how far east the northeast juts away from the rest of the country. It's almost in the Atlantic time zone.

Storrs is about 240 miles further away from the Big 12 than Philly already is, and Philly already is a LONG way away.

I mean, believe it or not, there are parts of Greenland, yeah, that ice covered Danish island in the north Atlantic, that are closer to Storrs than Austin or Lubbock is.
