NIU 3, WMU 1 final.
Huskies will play the winner of the KSU-CMU on Thursday. KSU leads CMU 1-0 batting in the bottom of the 3rd. WMU will play the loser of that game to start tomorrow's action.

#1 KSU gets the 1-0 win and will play #4 NIU tomorrow at 1 p.m. #8 CMU will play #5 WMU at 10:30 in the first elimination game.

Weather might be all that cooperative for this tournament.

Miami beats Toledo 5-2 in game 3. Ohio up 1-0 on Akron Top 2 in the nightcap.

Ohio beats Akron 3-1. Chalk across the bracket.

#5 WMU eliminates #8 CMU 2-0.

#1 KSU and #4 NIU about to start.

NIU beats Kent 2-0. Ohio and Miami to start shortly.

Miami beats OU 3-0 in 14 innings.

Ohio scored 4 in the top of the 7th incl. a 3-run HR to take a 5-2 lead on WMU, but WMU scored 3 with 2-outs to tie in the bottom of the 7th. They are going extras in Akron tied at 5.

Flashes eliminate the Zips 13-6 and will face Ohio after the winners' bracket game which is about to get under way.

Miami beats NIU to advance to the championship game. Ohio beats Kent 2-1.

Ohio beat NIU in game 1 today, but Miami won the next to take the championship.

Congrats to Miami softball - great finish to a strong season. MU has a good young coach developing along with the program and the best softball park in the league - should add up to contention in the MAC every season.
