Tyler Duffey pitches well in a loss
9 K's in 7 IP (including 4 in one inning!) but he didn't get much run support so he suffered the loss to go to 0-2 on the year. He has a 2.60 ERA and is pitching well. Here's a video of his 9 K's today.

I'd always wondered if anyone had ever gotten 4Ks in an inning. Just how rare is that in baseball?

Actually less than I thought. Only 33 times now in AL history (and the first since 2013). It's happened 44 times in NL history.

And amazingly, Duffey isn't the first Rice pitcher to have done it. Tony Cingrani also accomplished the feat in 2013.
