That sort of thing doesn't go away. Sure the Big 12 ran numbers on them. But they've gone lower than any other FBS school, (with the possible exception of Eastern Michigan). No P5 is going to take a chance on that.

Temple led the G5 this year in attendance, amazingly.

I think a lot of the reason why they are on a lower tier in the expansion conversation is that UConn and UC have won multiple national championships in basketball while Temple has never made it to a Final Four.

The B12 may add UConn and UC to say they are getting 2 great basketball schools that bring TV sets.

If they go the other direction and try to combine TV network forces with the PAC then BYU, Colorado State might make more sense.

Of course, no other G5 had Penn St. and Notre Dame as "home" games.

What do they have to do with Temple?
The Temple game might have been considered a tasty meal in some of their MAC years for the Huskies that they sometimes had to play back then, but for the Huskies that they play now, I guess maybe not so much.

It's absurd how people place so much emphasis on year to year results.

The facilities are coming with the on campus football stadium and our brand new olympic sports facility that is essentially on campus. Our football practice facility has been upgraded several times over the last few years, and is pretty nice considering our land constraints. Our basketball arena and practice facility are top-notch facilities.

As far as what we did when we were originally in the Big East, that was a completely different Temple in every way.

I don't think we'd mind the B12, but the ACC is our goal, and we've had ACC officials on campus a few times over the last few years to check out our campus.
