Here's an aerial view: https://goo.gl/maps/iBsNNgtNf1D2

So the white lines are for soccer, and the dark blue/green lines are for lacrosse. What are the red lines for? It looks like something from my 8th grade geometry course.

I can't see any colored lines in that link, but from your description, the red lines might be for girls lacrosse. Girls and boys lacrosse have the same size goals, but different distances apart, and a girls field has a set of protractor-like markings (called "the fan") in front of the goal.

Below is a screen-grab of the north goal area from Google Maps. The three sets of lines (white, red and dark green or blue) are clearly visible. (Click on the image to get a larger view.)

If George's explanation is correct, what is the rationale for the girls' goals to be located farther apart than the boys' ones? And what do the two red fans and the tic marks on the inner red fan indicate?

Now that a see this clearer image, I can say: my explanation is correct.

At the risk of being flippant, I suppose the simplest answer is: why not? The sports have different rules (more different than softball is from baseball), and one of those rules is a different distance between goals.

I don't know enough to give a real explanation, but I can say two general things:
- The inner curve (known as "the arc") and the outer curve (known as "the fan") have to do with where players can be when restarting play after a penalty.
- The difference in rules between the two sports is one reason that lacrosse officials specialize exclusively in either the men's game or the women's game; there is hardly anyone in the country who officiates both.

ESD's win over Vandegrift on Saturday was a thriller: the winning goal was scored with 1 second left on the clock. Here is Sunday's schedule:

SUNDAY MAY 8
11:00 AM Grob Stadium D2 Rockwall v Stratford
1:00 PM Moorhead Stadium D1 The Woodlands v Episcopal School of Dallas
3:00 PM Moorhead Stadium D1 Dallas Jesuit v Lake Travis

The 11:00 and 1:00 in particular could be very close games.
