Question D1 Baseball Field of 64 - May 4th
D1 has the Owls as a 2 seed at College Station with Aggies as No. 3 National seed. DBU is 3rd seed and Oral Roberts is 4th seed at Aggieland.

Only other host in Texas is No. 7 National seed TX Tech. TCU is a 2 seed at Minneapolis.

USM is a host paired against No. 5 National seed MS St. I don't see FAU in the 64.

Thanks. I missed it, twice. It did seem strange to me, so I checked a second time. Got to work on those reading skills.

I would have typed in FAU and still missed it!

The last time we traveled to LSU was not pleasant. I fear the Wrecking at Reckling last night significantly diminished our chances for hosting.

Take care of conference and I don't think it will matter. Just like if Tulane wins the AAC I see them hosting over LSU.

Here's a link to it: http://www.d1baseball.com/projections/d1...64-may-11/

And here's a link to BaseballAmerica's May 11 projection, which has us hosting (opposite #5 national seed A&M) ... and LSU as a #2 seed @Hattiesburg: http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/p...64-may-11/

Code:
College Station, TX    Houston
1. (5) Texas A&M^      1. Rice^
2. Clemson             2. Texas Christian
3. Dallas Baptist*     3. Southeastern Louisiana*
4. Oral Roberts*       4. Kent State*

#36 SE Louisiana as a #3 seed, #69 Kent State and #17 TCU as a #2 seed would make for the regional of death...and be one of the toughest regionals ever in the Super-regional era. Also, just as we did unto the Aggies several years ago (with extensive lobbying!), I can't see us hosting over TCU with TCU's two victories over us.
