It is becoming more and more likely that the approaching tropical storm will wash out any chance for baseball this weekend in the New Orlenas area. I wonder what the ulternative is. Will they consider delaying the games for a week?

SR's run until Monday 6/13. CWS begins 6/17. No way SR's can be delayed. The N.O. regional playing Sat, Sun, Mon doesn't help much. Unless we get a big break as far as the weather goes, we've either got to start sooner, or move the series.
This team deserves to host their Super at Turchin, in front of their fans. We got hosed weatherwise for the regionals (no pun intended). I hope we get a break and get to play the SR in our own park, as scheduled.

Jeez guys, relax. They aren't moving it and they aren't delaying it or moving it up. The latest projections having it turning slightly east and missing us completely. Initial projections are NEVER accurate, the storms always turn and the projections are always updated. Go East young man.

Is that you Nash?
Who's not relaxed?
Which latest projections that have it missing us completely have you seen? Link it up. We could use some good news.
Man I am ready for this weekend.

Fox 8 news at 6am ("Your Weather Authority") has the storm making landfall at 1am Sunday morning between Biloxi and Mobile. The storm is continuing to move slightly EAST. That puts us on the west side of the storm aka "The Dry Side". :rolltide:

update?? All our bickering aside, if a group of white haired folks get to decide the winner of this thing because it isn't over by Monday, that is cheap as hell. Although we know you guys would be the ones to advance.

If it comes to that, Tulane has earned the right to go to the CWS over Rice, but we just want our shot!

I bought tickets because I want to see the games as they are being played. I doubt that anyone that supports Tulane is hoping for a rainout and automatic selection to the CWS.

Bring on the Owls. Let's decide this thing on the field, where it belongs. There's no BCS in baseball, we play it out.
