What the B1G should do
Get closer to the ACC GOR ending date and grab Virginia
Then add Missouri
Boom, done
16 teams, two great bookend additions with great markets
B1G (16) EXPANSION COMPLETE
New logo: B16

RE: What the B1G should do
Although Missouri is a unique school in that they could fit both academically, athletically and institutionally in both the B1G and the SEC, I don't see why Missouri would ever want to leave the SEC - especially since they have shown they can compete in football with the big boys. Even though their most recent run was under Pinkel, he did show that it can be done.
Delaney wants to push east, and his dream scenario would be a Virginia/UNC/Georgia Tech/ND group-add - in my opinion. Not sure how realistic that may be, but that would be the logical scenario for them.

Why do people have such a hard freakin' time understanding that a conference can't just "take" a team!? Until people learn that simple truth, conversations on here are always going to be mindless drivel.

I don't think NC would come alone, ND isn't coming, and that probably rules out GT too
I think Mizzou would go simply because it could mean more $$$ and like-minded research schools. We all know Mizzou is a great fit for the B1G...

Also, Mizzou was pushing hard for a Big 10 invite.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I've always felt 16 was their end game due to that logo.

RE: What the B1G should do
I don't see UVA joining the big 10 unless UNC and/or Va tech also are joining. I don't see UNC joining unless duke and UVA join. I think the only possible combo for the big 10 to get uva and not expand past 16 would be to add uva and va tech. More realistic would be for the big 10 to offer UVA, UNC, duke and X to jump to 18 with 3 pods of 6.
west: NW, ILL, WIS, MIN, IO, NEB
central: UM, MSU, IU, PUR, OSU, PSU
east: Rutgers, Maryland, UVA, UNC, Duke, X
X could be Ga tech or FSU.

Yup. Fans wouldn't like it at first, but then they would learn to love it. People in charge want the B1G.
