Another potential target for next season, Helen Cox High (New Orleans) big man Khalea Turner (6-9, 245), told The CA on Monday that he's considering Memphis along with Baylor, Providence and UTEP. Turner visited Memphis when Pastner was still head coach, but has since spoken with the Tigers' new coaching staff.

Honestly, this guy would be a really good land this late in the class. What's his story, why isn't he committed yet?

We should be able to offer him lots of guaranteed minutes. Many teams can't offer that. The cupboard is pretty bare inside for us so far.

I don't think it is an issue with him being in shape...

I think he has joint issues, hence the reason he jumps on the bike when he leaves he game.

I thought Marshall showed some flashes late last year of really turning the corner.. I think he may surprise some over the next year or two.
