He has no clue about South Dakota State. 3 appearances in the Dance in 5 years is pretty damn good, I'd say.

The only thing that matters when comparing the Summit League to the MAC is that they're both one-bid leagues. That won't change for the foreseeable future.

Unless the basket size changes he will still miss a lot of shots.

That ole basketball ring has been the same diameter for some time now.

The only thing that matters when comparing the Summit League to the MAC is that they're both one-bid leagues. That won't change for the foreseeable future.

And as far as the one-bid stuff, that might be true but it has 0 to do with performance, you don't congratulate a dictator because he is running the country, its kind of taken by force much like this bids are handed out by force without any consideration for performance.

So the MAC last season was 10th at .5179 and Summit was 11th at .5129, a difference of .005.

So they're basically equal.

No doubt the Summit is not a bad conference but this year was certainly an anomaly for that conference, it usually isn't anywhere close to flirting with a top 10 national ranking. The MAC usually is hovering around 13 to 17th but had better year this past year to become one of the best 10 conferences in the nation
